Potter and Wheel

To add emotional impact to the biblical image of God as the potter shaping our lives, have a local potter set up a wheel on the platform of your worship space and throw pots throughout your entire worship gathering. We did this to introduce the potter metaphor for a series focused on the power of God's Word to shape our hearts. It was amazing the impact of watching the potter's hands actually shaping the clay while we were singing and praying about God doing that very thing in us!

NOTE: Be sure to protect your platform from the inevitable mess and test the volume of the wheel to make sure that this will not interfere with worship.
